Difficult to get to but a wonderful gallery.
Amazing exhibits by real heavy hitters national and international--but they still make room for an annual show of their members' work (which contains a lot of great local work) and the occasional short run student show.
Best photography exhibitions and workshops! Great place to meet others interested in serious photography.
This place is like my second home, the community there is amazing. They actually haven't moved in a while, despite what some angry people may say. Everyone there is lovely and will help you with anything you need. The art they display is very interesting. Right now they have a collection up from Davidson College, I encourage you to go see it.
Had a lot of fun with a workshop and plan on returning. Great staff!

As a photographer, I've really enjoyed the classes and workshops. They have a wide variety--from beginner classes with basic dSLR to traditional darkroom and alt processing.
