Rush is not just for coffee any more. If you have not been to Rush Espresso in Ballantyne Village you are missing out. They have great coffee ( as expected ), but they also have great food and a full bar with beer, wine, and alcohol. Check out their site to know who will be performing on their stage. Wednesday is open mic and that is a great night to join the fun.
The food is also amazing. They mean it when they have a sign saying "we serve good food, not fast food" - you wont get your food in 3 minutes but it also wont be microwaved. It will be super tasty food, albeit a bit pricey.
I told a friend of mine that I'd never drink coffee. The next thing I knew, I've been going out for coffee for the last few weeks. I love the atmosphere too.
Moved here a year ago from Hickory,NC (a town steeped in history) and this is one of the spots you can find some culture and down to earth folks in Ballantyne. With all the chain restaurants it's hard to find that in an area that is really so new compared to historical downtown areas. I love their chai tea latte and the food I've had here is great! I would not go here for fast food but rather a dig your heels in and stay a while kind of experience. Talk and hang out coffee house vibe. I've also enjoyed the staff here who are friendly. The lady I spoke with didn't mind explaining a few things on the menu.
I always take my out of town friends by here when they visit because its just a great little coffee shop.
Good coffee and delicious breakfast. We had guacamole eggs benedict, chia latte, delicious chutney panini and coffee. ♡
This place sells the best cup of coffee I have found anywhere in town. Plus, its a bit cheaper than starbucks. I'll happily pay a bit less for something that is much much better.
