Very good Bible based church we have growth opportunities for young kids to teens to young adults to adults to senior adults. Each age group has different life groups and classes to support each other. Young adult groups are very good for growth.

While it is a large congregation, there are smaller adult life groups (ALGs) to get involved with after the service on Sunday. My husband and I moved to Charlotte two years ago and immediately got involved in an ALG with other young families with whom we connected with and have made great friendships with. Calvary Church encourages every member to get involved beyond a consumer-Sunday-morning attendee, and because of the size and opportunities Calvary offers, there is most definitely a place for everyone to get involved and become a vital part of Calvary Church.

I am in full agreement with Mr Edmonds, who knew someone who this happened to. I too know of someone who was a member of a very wealthy church, where she was "tithing for many years. She came upin a need with her rent and was turned away. These ppl are going to be held accountable for their selfish, greedy hearts. If a wealthy church is turning the poor away, they are turning Jesus Himself away. I considered visiting this church until I discovered they are not helping the poor. Many in this community calling themselves "Christ followers" are nothing more than Pharisees extremely hypocritical. They need to repent.

The finest Christians and purest doctrine. I love this church and have been a member for 40 years. "For the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ."

Calvary Church has one mission: To be and make authentic followers of Jesus Christ. Sunday morning messages from Senior Pastor John Munro consist of strong, biblical, expository-style preaching, focusing on scripture and the truth of the gospel message. He frequently presents the gospel in his sermons (salvation through grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone). His messages are always full of strong theology, while also having a convicting message to apply in your life.

Response to those who are asking this very wealthy church fir legitimate help and are being turned away. There are many churches calling themselves "Born Again" Christian and are rejecting to help the poor. Many big wealthy churches continually taking money but refusing to give when the need is there.

Beautiful message based on the Holy Bible of the redemption we have in the cross of Jesus Christ. Pastor John and the members of Calvery welcomed us all the way from south Alabama as if we were part of this very large church family.
