We have been on the phone all morning trying to find the least expensive option. We found Boston Mortuary in Charlotte. Basic cremation $450.00. When we called Forest Lawn to let them know we would be transferring our friend. They said the family would be charged over $500.00 for pickup and refrigeration.

My friend passed away early this morning. I'm not sure who called Forest Lawn but they were called. This family has no money for funeral expenses and nothing was told to the family when they picked my deceased friend up concerning any cost what so ever.
The staff has always been very nice & helpful.
This is more than the entire cremation. It's despicable to say the very least. Shame on them!!
I have numerous family members buried there.
