This ABC store is one of the busiest, yet the most efficient ABC in Charlotte imo. The lines during weekends or holidays are generally 20 people long yet you never spend more than 5 minutes in line. There's usually a police/security guard in the store with his gun. The only drawback is that parking at this location is a bit weird and generally lots of cars zooming past in the small parking lot.
Usually have a pleasant experience but as of today August 29th 2017 I have changed my opinion. Cashier was nothing but helpful and friendly to the individual in front on me. She took extra time to talk to be polite and act like a friend to this person, but when I approached the register it was as if her world had ended. She wanted nothing more than for me to leave. I greeted her with a polite "how are you today ma'am" she just grunted scanned my items the said ID. I responded with a polite of course and presented it to her as she rudely told me my total. When she was done she tossed it across the counter if I wasn't there to catch it it would have fallen on the floor. During this entire encounter the lady acted as if I was a disease. I then said have a nice day to which she responded with a sort of grunting noise. As I was leaving I could hear her lighten up and act like a friend to the next customer. I don't wish to bring race into the mix but I believe the woman who was working today discriminated against me because of my race and nothing more as the person who followed me was rude himself to the cashier when I was not. Whoever is in charge of this store needs to reconsider keeping this individual on staff.
The manager greeted each person as they came in, asked if he could help ppl find things and was very friendly during check out. The line was long but he worked quickly.

Staff is not very friendly and the parking here is mayhem at best.
