They have the best selection of beer (to go) in be city! So many cold options in the fridge and even more on the shelves. I love that they now have a build a six pack Option.
Great revolving selection of local beer on draft and a wide selection of beer and wine to-go. Ketan finds unique beers across the state so there is always something new to try. His selection is unlike any other place in the city. One of my favorite neighborhood hangouts! Ps. There are outlets in the bar if working while having a beer is your thing
I chose this as the location for a work happy hour and we really liked it. We sat outside on one of the larger couches. There was also some seating inside. They have a large selection of craft beer and one cider on tap in addition the the large assortment of bottles they have (some refrigerated, some not). It was quiet outside which was nice because it was easy to have a conversation. They staff was very friendly and occasionally came out to check on us. They have a few light snacks available, but they also let you bring food from the nearby businesses (Blaze Pizza, Bulgogi Box, and Fidelli Kitchen are all right there). They’re pet friendly - there were a few dogs on the patio outside. This is definitely a place I would come back to.
One of the best tap rooms in Charlotte! You won’t be disappointed with their selection on the taps as well the selection in the retail area. They really focus on the local breweries which makes it that much better! Owners are top notch and are all about taking care of their customers.
The patio is super relaxing and really dog friendly. There’s always great beers on tap too.
What sets apart this bottle shop from all the others in this city is that while everywhere else, except for Salud, you will get a solid mix of beer from all the same breweries - here you will get a great selection of NC beers that are not distributed in Charlotte. The owner drives out and picks up beer from all over the state, which means you can get some great beer from Raleigh and the seacoast that you can't get anywhere else. For this reason alone, Pop the Top is in my Top 3 favorite bottle shops in Charlotte, and with how many of them there are, that's saying something.
