Just a wonderful place with an artificial lake and great trails. I workout there everyday.
Perhaps my favorite small park in Charlotte. Great trails for biking, running, or a walk in the woods. Lots of wildlife as well including deer, raccoon, and tons of frogs.

I love this park for the playground, the trails, the bathrooms, and the fields... Great for young children and older alike.
it has ok fields to play on. But it does have a nice bathroom and small playground for kids. If you are looking for a place to kill time at and you are in to sports this is a nice place. It has open fields and lots of land.
Even better it now connects to McAlpine Park through the greenway.
