I always enjoy this park. They have a large dog park where we stopped for a little while today, and the size allows the dogs to move about without getting into trouble. The lake is is matbe 5+ acres, has a large covered dock, and always has fisherman. There are always lots of folks walking their dogs, running, etc. I counted 55 Canada geese by the lake today and another half dozen in the water. The trails include a 5K cross country course, including a steephill in the middle, which hosts lots of regional meets; and many different ways to walk or jog.
What a lovely park! This park had wonderful running trails and it even has a dog park! We had a splendid time here. We ran a 5k to raise money for Rescue Me!
Dog park is 3/5 stars. Bike trail is top notch. No play equipment for children, so if you are taking the family dog to the park, the kids will not be entertained easily.
Great place for run or dog walk. Well kept by Parks & Rec department and they obviously take pride in it. Great parking and easy to get to. Free!
Hours of this place change without notice which would be nice other than that this is a great place to take your dogs to play.
