Can’t say enough good things about this business and it’s people! With children who are very active in sports, we’ve been repeat patients a number of times. John and his team have expedited my children’s injury recovery and provided additional strengthening exercises to help them excel once healed. Hands down the best PT we’ve ever been to!
I came to steel creek physical therapy barely able to walk, stand or sit without being I. Immense pain that was caused by labor and delivery of my baby boy. I wasn't able to carry my newborn and stand for longer than a few minutes. I felt very helpless. I had back, hip and hamstring issues. After about 16 weeks of working with the team at Steel Creek Physical therapy, I was able to walk, sit and stand without pain and finally able to carry and my baby. Candidly, I was hesitant to go to PT I didn't think it would help, but now I am a believer and advocate for PT and more specifically for Steel Creek PT. Now I'm back in action and feel great. I feel like a new woman and am forever grateful to John, Tyler and Christina for the care and attention to my needs.
I had a great experience here. I came in with two damaged shoulders from a zip line accident and had a dramatic improvement in range of motion and reduction of pain after 10 treatment sessions. The staff is very friendly, helpful and genuinely wants to help you. The exercises were very targeted to the condition and were just the thing to allow me to use my arms normally again and have a normal quality of life. Highly recommended!
Lastly, I had to call the office 3 times to get information about my bill, and the first two times I was told that someone would follow up with me the next day. After waiting a few days, I would call back. Ultimately, it took 2 weeks to get information about my bill which was annoying and unprofessional.
I know there are a lot of positive reviews about this place here- which is why I initially came. But I've been massively dissapointed in my experience here.
Disappointed that on my first visit to Steele Creek Physical Therapy I had to fill out 25 minutes of paperwork on both paper and iPad forms. I had arrived 10 minutes early for my 6pm appointment, so now I was just getting started at 6:15pm. I work in HR, and I"m a whiz at filling out paper forms, so for it to take 25 minutes for me, it would likely take much longer for someone who doesn't work in an administrative field. After filling out paperwork, I had to wait 15 additional minutes to be seen by a physical therapist even though I already scheduled an appointment for 6pm. Finally, at 6:30, I saw a therapist. The therapist I saw was professional, but used the long questionnaire I had filled out previously to tell me that they could improve my health by 30% which was confusing and awkward. I only came in to improve my hamstring flexibility, and not at any point did anyone ask me why I came in. The computer questionnaire didn't contain questions to accurately capture my inflexibility, and therefor led to my therapist to a more intense conclusion about my condition than just asking me in the first place what I came in for. Ultimately, I did 1 stretch while in the office from 6:55-7:00pm, and felt like I wasted a huge chunk of time.
Highly recommend! John, Tyler, and Christine were all a pleasure each visit I had. I followed their instructions and did my exercises and was able to regain my range of motion with my knees! It was a great day and a sad day when I was discharged :(
