I enjoy that ride everytime I visit Carowinds. I highly recommend it to anyone who visits the park.I try to at least ride it 4 times.One if my favorites.
Place has alot to offer but also rules at every turn....some that are made up on the fly. For instance you can use goggles in the water park with detachable nose piece but not a one piece goggle/nose piece. I've actually been thrown out of the part for questioning policy....so be on your best behavior....I've also never been to the park without something broken down... there is always one or two rides closed. Make sure you buy your ticket ahead of time as a one day ticket is not available at the gate....so if you only plan on attending one day buy ahead on line.
This one is actually a pretty smooth Arrow mine train. It's pretty mediocre though.
Was a very good mine train ride...wish it was a little longer... pretty neat that towards end you pass thru area where you smell that under ground water smell...authentic.
