Went to a wine-tasting party hosted by someone from PRP Wine, and the consultant did a fine job explaining all the wines and how to taste. My issues began after the order process. I ordered 3 bottles of wine not knowing I had to be home to receive delivery. I found that out when they called to confirm my payment and OK, I scheduled the delivery for a day and took a day of vacation. I waited...and waited and waited..nothing. No delivery. Then called and got voicemail and left a message. No call backs the next day (or wine delivery)..or the next. Left messages each day and finally did get someone to call me back who seemed to have no idea how my order was shipped and at first said it would not be delivered to my house, as I had been told, but to the hostess' house. Then called back after researching and said it had been shipped and asked if I'd seen any delivery notices. I said no, asked for a cancellation of the order, and after being told it could be done, kept getting told someone would call me back. No one ever did. Finally disputed the charge on my credit card and they refunded my costs and then filed a complaint with the BBB. THus far, PRP Wines has not responded to the BBB complaint.
To make it worse you pay $35 to $50 a bottle. To dump it down the sink .. couldn't get pass the rotten smell . No need to take it back we are thru.with this company. There are so many good companies that stand behind. Their wine to put up with this. I have never seen so many bad reviews from their own employees. If I had seen this i would never bought. A bottle
I have been trying to get in touch with a person from this company for a long time now to schedule a wine tasting. I've called pretty much all of the numbers on the website and also dialed random extensions to set up a wine tasting and this company is just not responding. The only person I can get a response from is in a completely different location and is unable to do the wine tasting himself for me. He can't even get anyone from his own company to call me back. I've done a few tastings in the past and attended warehouse events and my consultant just recently left, so if you need a new consultant don't even bother. They won't return your messages or calls and their phone systems seem to go nowhere. I even called the 1-800 number for this company during operating hours listed on the website and it says their office was closed. What a nuisance.Find a more reliable and professional company to do your tasting.
My service was Awesome! Kelly ROCKED it. She is funny, knowledgeable and down to earth all while maintaining a high level of professionalism. I received a call BEFORE my wine was delivered to guarantee address and the day of delivery. I will book PRP again. My sister's and I enjoyed learning about the company and how each wine came to life. For those of you who did not have this experience ask for Kelly!!!
So my suggestion is be careful of the customer service. Wines tasted fine, but IMHO, the customer service is quite lacking in this company.
This the worst wine I have ever tasted. . Not only that it's the 2nd time we have returned bottles that were bad.
Because you can not give them no stars, I am required to give one. I prepaid and booked wine tasting for my house warming month in advance. I sent out all invitations and was all set for my event. Well the never showed up. No call advising he was no longer coming. Nothing but complete embarrassment and disappointment. The ruined my event because the entire evening and theme was surrounded around actually doing the tasting. At this point I am still waiting on the company to call me back for my refund. GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY IF YOU CAN
