Love the bakery and deli. They make the best roasted chicken salad around. Just ate a Yule log that was worth going off my diet
I still walk here regularly to get some things but if you need something in a pinch, you're rolling the dice on disappointment. There are two nearby Harris Teeters in the meantime, with a Publix on the way.
I was at The Fresh Market at Strawberry Hill in Charlotte. Alexander who works in the meat department is absolutely fabulous. However I had been calling this location all day long and nobody answers the phone. This is not the first time this has happened. I had called the location at the Promenade in Charlotte and kept getting put on hold and then getting disconnected. The Fresh Market needs to work on this this happens frequently
Fresh Market is a great grocery store for everything especially fresh foods!! Prices are very reasonable.
This was my preferred local grocery store about a year ago, thanks in part to friendly people and consistent availability of produce, including meats. Things have changed since new management came in and construction of the new Fresh Market was announced. The employees remained and are still the best part of the grocery store but the quality of produce has fallen and availability of it is inconsistent, including the meat department. I believe the trucks deliver over the weekend so my general experience of availability degrades throughout the work week. I've lost count how many times I've come to this store and something as simple as lettuce, tomatillos, or even chicken is not available. Complaints generally solicit an apology at best, or a finger pointed towards management at worst. The possibility of change feels rather futile until the new store opens.
Best place in town to grocery shop. Everything is fresh and we'll presented. If you are looking for that ingredients that other grocery stores don't have, come here.
