One word, HORRIBLE! Lawrence Mays does not return phone calls/emails. Case has been with NC since 2014 and there has been no movement. The worst county to inforce support. Hard working moms like myself who have done nothing to abuse the system. However, this is my right to go this route. Escalating to the head of operations. Unacceptable!
A waste of tax payers money. You are better off hiring your own private attorney. Between going back and forward to court for almost 16yrs.
If a non custodial parent does not cooperate....good luck because your kid will probably be married with kids of their own before they start trying to enforce you child support order. Leave all the messages you want, your worker has no interest in calling you back so prepare to spend a lot of your time and gas driving down to their office just to check the status of your case. The was government agency by far, and that's saying a lot!
I would give them no stars if i could. Very lazy workers who are not concern of your case. The lady their literally spoke with me for two minutes tops. Said eveything is being taken care of. Nothing was taken care of. And this was november of 2016 its now april 2017
All of these women are lazy and careless. They do not care about you. Getting in touch with them is like finding a needle in a hay stack. I've practically had to do all of the case workers WORK for her! She has done little to nothing. The only thing she has done is given me a court date after I've nearly had to call her 3 times a day for a week and go up there... Pitiful
