Pretty much the best theater in Charlotte. I go to at least one movie a week here. It is always clean and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and the manager is always willing to answer questions, chat or even give movie suggestions and reviews. The bar is open now which is nice for evening shows. The recliners are the BEST! RPX makes for a cool experience and is better than IMAX in my opinion.
Completely ruined our holiday trip out to the movies. The assigned seating is ridiculous. Had we had known we would have bought tickets online. Going to the movies isn't like flying where you have tickets booked months in advance. I shouldn't be penalized to sit in the first row because of the number of individuals with me and when I purchase the tickets. The kiosk claimed all the seats were bought but by the time the movie started there were empty seats. Also, I asked for popcorn salt which now they keep behind the counter. The girl gave me about 1 tsp for a large bucket of popcorn. I shouldn't have had to repeatedly ask for the salt. Unfortunately this will be our last trip to this theater.
Easy to use kiosk for prepaid tickets. Theater was clean and had comfortable chairs. Only issue I have is the cost of food and drinks... $9 for popcorn and $6 for pop seems ridiculously high...now multiply that by 4 people!!!
Don't sit in the back unless you are 7 feet tall.
I love being able to book my seats online so I don’t have to worry about getting a good spot. The strategic way the theater is built allows guests to walk in the row in front of you without comprising your view. The seats are so comfortable and large it’s like sitting at home. They keep the perfect temperature so that you’re not freezing to death like other theaters. The sound is perfect every time and I love, LOVE the reclining chairs. I’m sad they are only in select movies. Yes, the food and drinks are really expensive, but I find it’s worth the extra money for a more luxurious experience. It also seems to draw a cleaner crowd, who tend to pick up after themselves and are more respectful to other movie goers. No cell phone issues nor texters during any of the films I’ve seen here.
Also make sure you dont wanna see a movie with more than 3 or 4 people cause you wont sit together unless you book the tickets a few days in advance. The technology has gotten better but there but everything else is lacking.
