Food was acceptable but the hostess was rude and irritable and because I was alone I was seated on the unheated patio. I was really looking forward to my meal but was disappointed. The waitress came to my table twice after I was seated and to bring me my check. I must compliment the support staff as he were attentive and very responsive.
I've only ate here at lunch but the service has always been extremely efficient, and polite. The restaurant is very clean and has a great overall atmosphere.
My first time at bricktops to help celebrate my friend's birthday. My food was good, but the service and organization of a large party was poor. A reservation for 25 made 3 weeks in advance. Our tables given away because some of the party was late---yet the majority was there. Apparently there is a rule that the tables will be given away if all of your party isn't there within 15 minutes. NO ONE ever communicated such. So when the rest of the guest arrived they were separated and unable to join in celebrating the guests birthday. In addition, the server was abrupt, rude and stepped on my toes twice. When the other guests arrived the server them poorly as if they were a nuisance, they had to ask for menus. I am disappointed. I was merely a guest for my friends birthday. I don't plan on returning or recommending this establishment. Maybe my experience would have been different if it was just a table for two, maybe we would have received excellent service, regardless, it was unacceptable and less than desirable.
I've ate here a couple of time and always the food was wonderful. I've had their salmon, chicken and steak and it's always been served to perfection --not to mention always tasting just great.
Even though half the restaurant was empty and I arrived right on time for my 11:45am Monday reservation, the hostess tried to seat me and my friend near the noisy kitchen. I requested a better table, and she tried to seat us a couple of tables away, again by the kitchen. She was insensitive and seemed to refuse to let us sit in a quiet, comfortable spot. We're decent-looking people, so don't know what she had against us. Also, the toilet stalls were all out of toilet paper. The food was pretty good, but almost all seafood. The waiter was very good!
Oh man! The food here is amazing, everything tastes so good! A bit of a wait, when it is busy, but food came out at a reasonable time and service was really good. I personally did not have to wait for a table, but I saw a few people waiting when I was leaving. Maybe making a reservation may be advisable on busy nights. Expect to spend anywhere from $50-$100 for 2 adults. But it was worth it for the flavors and quality of food! Good place to dine for dinner, loud, good for kids as well.
If I had to pick a lunch place to eat this would probably be one of them; the food is just always good.
