The 14 year old who never met a junk food he didn't like said the pizza isn't very good. That was a first! If "Pizza" is the main description of your restaurant, it's a bad sign if you can't make a decent pepperoni.
The worst one was my sister's pie- it had a very long hair underneath the crust. The server apologized profusely and made her a new one, but no one from management came over, and they didn't take anything off the check for the disgust factor.
I got the Works without mushrooms. I ended up picking the mushrooms off because the pie came with mushrooms anyway. It was also very heavy on green pepper and way too light on pepperoni and olives.
The food coming from the kitchen needs better QC by management.
The best part of the visit was the server, Brett. He was definitely very busy but he was polite and as attentive as he could be.
And finally, CPK has the worst beer list I've seen at a restaurant in the past five years.
Not the best experience I've had here. First, the hostess apparently forgot about us- she said it would be a 15-minute wait, so we said we'd wait at the bar, and she said she'd fnd us. After close to a half hour my sister went to ask on the status, and the hostess said she didn't know if we were coming back. We got the next available table and placed our order.
Good meal and great service. It was my birthday and the waiter treated me with extra care, along with a complimentary ice cream sundae. The drinks aren't too good, though.
My husband got the carne asada pie...I was appalled at again how stingy they were with the meat, some of the pieces didn't have any meat on it at all.
The table layout is also not great. We were in a booth at an angle to another table, and any time the waiter needed to service that table he'd have to squeeze through the tiny angle, disrupting everyone. They also put the bathrooms in a strange place, requiring you to walk down a narrow path between booths, which I'm sure is very annoying to the people in that section with bathroom traffic constantly going past.
Ate here several times and always enjoy the food. Somewhat noisy location, which is great for kids, and tons of seating both indoor and out. Friendly staff and very efficient.
My wife got a salad that was drenched in a ridiculous amount of dressing. She let most of it on the plate. "Inedible" was her primary description.
I got the hearth-roasted halibut. The fish itself was very overcooked and rubbery. The asparagus with it was burnt to a crisp on the ends. The butternut squash farro was completely unseasoned and terribly bland.
Not sure I would go out of my way to come back here.
Went with the family for our first, and last, visit to CPK. We were seated immediately, and the waiter quickly came for our drink orders and brought everything back to us right away. Then he disappeared for 15 minutes while we sat there waiting to order food. It wasn't worth the wait.
My niece got the kids Mac and cheese, which was very good, as was the passion fruit iced tea.
Stopped here on vacation with the wife & as soon as we walked in the hostess was rude. Sat down, the waiter put a drink menu on our table as a joke. Then the bartender thought it was funny to ask if I wanted a beer. Didn't really find it funny, actually found it pretty rude considering we're over 21 but just look young. Good food shitty people.
In fairness, the 6 year old liked her kids menu cheese pizza.
