All y'all dumb asf I'm a 9th grader fine to be in 10th at Harding and its not a bad school y'all focus so much on the bad stuff that y'all see on TV but never been to school just be honest.

I just graduated from this school and I can truly say that my years at this school wasn’t bad but they did have a lot that they needed to fix ...compared to the other schools this school isn’t as bad as people make it or assume it to be .

Harding is by far one of the worst schools I've been to and I'm lucky enough I moved and got out of there at the beginning of my sophomore year. Literally being slightly different can get your ass beat or bullied all year. either being white, disabled, fat, too skinny, lgbt, or from a different religion. Forget about being miss goody 2shoes because many students there are wanna be 'thug' types and will gang up on you if they know you won't fight back. Alot of people skip classes and you can literally see them roaming in the bathrooms or parking lots, most of them being freshmen too. Don't get me started with the staff too, the math teachers usually get stepped on and have no control over their class. And I would see alot of the teachers fighting with the students because the students there act so snotty and stubborn its unbelievable. The teachers dont seem to put any effort in helping the students pass. The 2nd year i attended it felt like i was in a prison, there are cops and security guards all over the school because you won't believe how common fights are over there. In general, I highly suggest not going to this school. who ever is expecting the 'thug' life in this school will be damn surprised seeing how many pregnant freshmen and beat up kids they'll be spotting in this broke ass school.

Parents please please don't allow your child to attend this horrible school. The staff members are unprofessional and will makeup lies on the child and parent.Everyday the CMPD police are called to the school because of fights and drugs. No metal detectors or dress code.I even observed students doing provocative touching and staff pass by and say nothing.Disable students will be abused and IEP not followed. The Superintendent will do nothing but back the unprofessional staff. She is not for the progression and advancement of your child. She is not concerned with the parents dissatisfaction of the school. Please don't enroll your children in this hostile and dangerous environment.

As a Harding University Student I have learned quite a few things. I am heading into my senior year and while i have seen progress in our school i have also seen the setbacks. Coming into the Harding University system I was not previously aware of its reputation and believed that I was walking into a prestigious and well accommodating high school , however I was mistaking. For my freshman was a mixture of unprofessional and horrible administrators who clearly did not deserve the jobs to a principal that was smug, rude, disrespectful and lack luster. They did not give a good start to my freshman class who basically had to fend for themselves. We weren't being on the level we were supposed to and some not even given the proper classes. Add in the teachers struggling to take control of overcrowded classes with half the class not wanting to learn and distracting the students who actually wanted to. So after a long struggling freshman year we got Mr. Eric Ward a principal that actually made a difference in my school, while it still had its flaws and it was becoming better. This however did make up for teachers who were not able to control their classes or distinguish between teacher and friend. My third year had Harding has so far been better than my last two with fewer complaints. What I must authorize is if you are a successful student DO NOT GET INTO THE IB PROGRAM SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND STRESS!! Its not even worth all of the Bs they say. In the last 8 years only 5 people have gotten the diploma if you really want a challenge worth the effort enroll in AP Classes its way worth it and this is coming from an IB student don't do it to yourself. But Harding as a school is not so bad, the media may give us as Rams a bad rep but we're actually pretty normal. Yea there are some bad apples in the bunch nut we won't let that ruin all the hard work that some people have put in. While I strongly believe Harding is not the best school it has made progress and there are Teachers and Staff Members who actually do want to see you achieve greatness. HUHS And this is coming from a Proud Ram!!
