Our massage was pre-paid, so hopefully we will be able to work with Groupon to get our money back. I would avoid this place at all costs if they offer another Groupon.
We received a couple's massage to destress before our wedding. This was a Christmas gift and the first available appointment was in late August!
Similar event occurred for us. We had prepaid for a couple's massage at the beginning of the year, was told then that the earliest appointment was in late August. We scheduled it months ago, rushed home from work to make the appointment and we arrived it was closed with a note on the door from the landlord. No one called to cancel and the mailbox is full when you try to call their phone number. There were also notes from other disgruntled customers taped to the door voicing their frustration with the lack of notice. One customer stated they had driven 45 minutes to the spa and arrived to find it closed. Definitely hoping I get reimbursed.
this place is a total joke!!! I bought a couples massage for valentines day and they said there first available appointment was for july 31. well i took there supposed only appointment available and then they called me the day before, being today and tell me the person they had doing the massage quit and august 27th was there only next available date. this place is the most horrible unprofessional massage parlor i have ever heard of. they dont even answer the phone when ever you call or email. dont use this place its a complete waste of time!!!
We took the afternoon off work and arrived to find the doors locked. There was a note on the door from the landlord, I spoke with her and they have stopped paying rent so she changed the locks. They didn't even bother to call to cancel, just disappeared. If you try to call, the mailbox is full, probably from others that they stood up for appointments.
Thanks to my relocated mother, I got to use her Groupon for this small but relaxing massage spa. I was able to make a next day appointment for a deep tissue massage with Kevin, but it turned out to be Kristen. The room was clean and tidy, a mixture of Zen and anatomy (a huge poster displayed male musculature). The face cradle and/or the cover often slipped during our session, so I had to adjust sometimes. As for the actual massage, it was definitely deep tissue. I have a regular MT I go to and adore, and as someone who's tried out different spas and specifically requested deep tissue, Kristen did the best job outside of his work! She was strong and firm, but also listened and watched to make sure what she was doing wasn't too much. In addition to the usual detox sniffles associated with DT massage, I actually felt energized afterwards.
I give this place no stars, I had an appointment set up and when I called the week before to confirm after already paying, no one answered the phone, their message box was full and I went to the location to check and the doors were closed and locked during normal business hours. No one was informed of the closing and that is very bad business. Do not visit if they were to re open!
