Some of the beliefs of the company seem to be completely far fetched. Sure I am more than okay with hollistic medicine and practices, but I have seen directly where the company believes that heartworm prevention is "poison" and said why "vaccinate over and over". Do you really want to support a group that believes in shorten your pet's lifespan by allowing it to contract heartworms? What about a dog sick with parvo or another virus just because you failed to vaccinate your dog regularly? I want my dog babies to live long healthy lives. If I can't trust the beliefs, how can I back what they sell?
I have a German/Australian Shepherd mix pup who’s a year old and we’ve had a terrible time finding food for her sensitive tummy. We finally got one her tummy can handle but her skin was itching like CRAZY! I finally asked the wonderful people at Pawtique for some help and they recommended Acana, and I was hesitant on switching food again but I’m so glad we did! It’s been a couple months and no itchy skin or tummy upset! The 70/30 formulas are awesome, she loves the flavors, and she’s even been gaining weight which we’ve had problems with in the past as well! We just moved to the other side of town but I will continue to go monthly to Pawtique for my pups food and treats! They really helped me out!
My dog has had terrible allergies for the past year. We’ve tried everything conventional - steroids, medicated shampoos, antibiotics (which resulted in an awful yeast infection), and topical anti-fungal creams. We had some success while he was on them, but he was usually worse after. Diana and the staff at Pawtique have worked with me in discovering WHY he is having the allergies. I have changed his diet, eliminated some possible allergens and am now giving him some anti-fungal herbs both internally and externally. So far, so good and no nasty side effects. If you are looking for a place that has great, healthy products, a knowledgeable and caring staff that really strive to help you get to the root cause of any pet issue, then this is your place. Ignore the bad reviews - I’m suspecting they come from people who are ignorant of holistic health and feel threatened by those of us who are sick of the conventional treatments that cause more harm than good!
I have been going to Pawtique for a few years and they are really good to my dog.....and I must be happy with them, since I drive from Dilworth to almost Ballantyne!!! I have been through other groomers locally and have had some bad experiences. Tammy is great, she is very gentle and I can tell she truly likes animals.
Owner was very short and unprofessional. This has to be the worst place I've ever been to. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. Better staff and products aren't hard to find.
