Never will I attend this venue again and I will never recommend this venue to anyone.
A venue that was open for Thanksgiving.
When we received our food, the meat was only warm, the casserole was cool and the dressing was extremely dry...a shock was definitely attained.
I made reservations for 8 p.m. Christmas night on Open Table. We arrived at 7:45. Upon arrival we were informed two of the five entrees were not available. We stayed because our choices were slim for any other restaurant. There were many booths unoccupied but we were seated at a high top for two up against the wall. Our server informed us the side we ordered wasn't available any longer. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when I received an email from Open Table informing me I was a "no show". If only I had been a no show...
The bathroom was clean but had a strong odor of mold.
TERRIBLE first and LAST visit
Have been to Charlotte for business often. This place is great. Have gotten the steaks each time I visit. Peter was my server this time and was fantastic. Recommended a fantastic gin for the cocktail and told me which steak to get. His service was excellent. Next time I will be back not only for the food but service as well! This place deserves the good reviews!
I gave it 3 stars because it wasn't good but it wasn't bad. The location is good, and the menu is good. I went for brunch on a Sunday. Had the Eggs Benedict with a Bloody Mary. It could of been seasoned a little better but I am not complaining. This place had a good atmosphere and had the Panthers game showing so I was happy. Would I go again? Yes. Would I recommend it maybe.
The meal was just meat for the main entree and not clearly defined nor did our wait staff inform us, ordered a beer in a cold glass and received the beer in a bottle with a hot glass.
We were met upon entering, seated at a very small table that was not even. The hostess attempted to correct the rocky table and made it lean one sided.
Definitely a $$$ restaurant and worth every penny. The deviled egg with the fried oyster, garlic shrimp were stand out apps. The salmon entree with the mashed potatoes was amazing. The char-cano cocktail was delicious. Peter was a friendly and knowledgeable server. Great dinner, will definitely go back for a dessert tasting.
