Server staff very attentive to details. It appears they try to be part of the atmosphere and not the conversation. The food was delicious and there is a natural peaceful ambience.
The drink service is still good, but for Italian there are far better options to choose from, including Fiamma or Dolce. If you are in the area, I suggest George's or Del Frisco's across the way as better, more reliable options, or even the nearby Village Tavern or Park South Grill.
This place has really gone downhill in terms of quality and menu, mostly because the kitchen service quality is so poor. The meat I ordered first came out well overcooked, and then well under cooked, showing a real lack of talent or quality control. Additionally, other party members experienced similar issues with their dishes. There are too many good restaurants nearby to bother with mediocre or poor ones like Brio.
Had it not been for the below average service, it would get five stars. The food was amazing, but it took over 25 minutes to get our checks. Granted we had a large party, but the service should have accommodated for that considering we made a reservation 4 days in advance. The gratuity was hand written in and it was based on the total amount instead of the before tax amount. To top things off, the waitstaff kept complaining that they had to do separate checks and that's why it was taking so long
Very good lobster risotto. Good service though they seem to have issues with biking a group is 26. Excellent atmosphere.
Brio Tuscan Grill was ALWAYS my “go to” restaurant. We never experienced a bad meal there. We decided to go one night and they had changed to Coastal, it was horrible. The food quality, atmosphere, service.. EVERYTHING! We will not be returning as most of our friends who we have talked with about it. Guess we will have to make frequent trips to Harrahs Cherokee Casino they have Brio Tuscan there and said they will not be changing to coastal! I never understand why restaurants when they have something so wonderful going then they go and screw it up! One good thing about it now is there is never a wait, you can walk right in.
