I went to Windsor Jewelers today to select an engagement ring with my fiancé and it went great. We tried shopping at some stores in South Park mall last weekend and the process was stressful and high pressure. At Windsor I was put in contact with Heidi before I even came to the store and we emailed back and forth about what I was looking for. So when we got to the store it was very quick and painless. I was bringing a diamond to use in the setting and they gave me a quick honest assessment of the quality so I could decide if I would be happy with it.

I am a watch guy who moved from Washington DC to Charlotte several years ago. I could not find a jeweler who sold the brands of watches I was looking for until several days ago when I found Windsor Jewelers. I had heard about them but I did not know where they were located. Big break for me! Windsor was everything I was looking for. Knowledgeable, very friendly sales staff (especially David Hollis) and management (Benjamin), and an outstanding variety of nice Swiss watches (unlike anything I have seen in Charlotte). Their display of IWC watches was second to none. I guess I have spent a long time to simply say that if you want a great watch and the best watch buying experience, Windsor Jewelers is the place to go!
I went in for the first time this weekend and was extremely pleased by the service I received from David. He was able to answer all of my questions and made some outstanding suggestions that I really appreciated. I haven’t decided exactly which watch to go with yet but once I do I’ll be back here to make my purchase.
They cleaned my ring with no questions asked even thought we had purchased it from Lions which closed down. They were all very nice and the jewelry looked beautiful!
Meh. That's the level of service here. I've been a long time customer of the former Lion's jewelers and they always took very good care of us. Not only with statement pieces but also when we have purchased lesser expensive items. It's not a luxury experience anymore and my husband and I need to find another Charlotte jeweler. I've come in here several times over the past year and every time it's been the same. No one really seems that enthusiastic or knowledgeable. It's really too bad because they are in a convenient location. And let's be honest, if you are spending, why not spend with someone who wants your business?
