Great place for soul food every menu item that I have tried in the past year and a 1/2 has been wonderful good flavor great corn bread, homemade Mac and cheese, fried pork chops, grilled pork chops, fried chicken perfectly flavored collared greens perfectly flavored fried flounder Great all around family soul food restaurant staff is great friendly and knowledgeable pricing is very affordable .
Food was great! The BBQ Turkey Ribs were amazing. Service was also, stellar. Made the stop, while traveling thru NC to VA and Tyrone, made us feel like we were home. Definitely will be back when I come back to Charlotte.
Macaroni and cheese made me want to slap the f out of the cook...damn! It was good. Food was great. Made me feel like I was at momma's house. Service wasn't that great. Ferman was cool as hell though. He made up for there lack of servers. Funny guy.
Love the staff. the food wasn't really good this time. It's a hit or miss here food wise, but I love the staff nevertheless.
Went there with my coworker after work! Got the fried pork chop, macaroni & cheese, collards and rice with gravy! It was soooooo good! Definitely going back again! And staff was extremely friendly and welcoming!
