A friend and I walked in the Vans store about two weeks ago. There was an associate working to the right hand side once you walked in and what seemed to be the manager and another associate behind her. ALL of them looked at us, but NONE of them greeted us! I had about 4 shopping bags in my hand ready to buy Vans and their customer incompetence lost them a sale and a customer. I went to Journeys to buy my shoes instead..
Good service in store nothin against employees however the products are horrible. $58.99 and they didn't even last 3 months. Right shoe bottom sole fell off. If u skim over a puddle of water expect soaked socks. Never ever skateboarded in these and just form daily wear they are DESTROYED. I was told they were the longest lasting vans ment for skate boarding. What a good lie that was!
The products are what you would expect which is why it earned two stars instead of one. What brought it down from 4 stars to two is that I have never before been so looked down upon or verbally called out for choosing to not donate an extra two dollars to autism. Guilt tripping may coerce some people into reluctantly giving money but otherwise it makes people feel uncomfortable and not want to return. I like to give to organizations that I can research and I know how and where the money is spent. This review is not a matter of asking me to donate but for calling me out for not donating to your specific cause.
