Walk into the clinic for a emergency and they wouldn't assist me. Wanted to give an appointment a week away. Walked into another veterinary clinic right before they were going to close and they assisted me right away. Don't use this veterinary clinic.. beware... this could be you with your pet...
While the vet, Dr. Harris, was wonderful and has great compassion and empathy, the staff here is deplorable. Namely, Diana, the practice manager. I rushed in here because my dog had a seizure and they were closer than the emergency room. I also was in such a hurry that I did not really have the time to look for the emergency room. Diana was less than empathetic and showed no sense of urgency. The vet was calm and professional the entire time and I would have been able to calm down if Diana were not pushing for a past due payment of 52.00 that I didn't even know existed. All of my things including my phone were in the car, my other dog was running around because I didn't have time to grab a leash on my out and she was worried about 52.00. I was obviously and visibly distressed about my dog. I had to ask the Dr. to tell her to leave because she made me that angry. I am absolutely displeased that they have someone of her poor caliber working there. This was completely unacceptable.
Dr. Harris was great, my puppy loved her.
Everyone is raving on how friendly but that wasn't my experience. They were not rude but certainly were not friendly. Very monotone . I think I'll stick with Northlake Banfield
I didn't even mention the horrid conversation she had with my mother who called them to alert them I was on the way.
This place is a joke. The facility itself is nice & modern, however the staff needs to get a lecture from PETA! I brought my 5 yr old cat in for a wellness visit. The receptionist had no personality. When I walked in, she obviously saw me because she made eye contact but did not greet me. No worries I thought they might just be busy. After waiting for the doctor for about 25 minutes, we were called back with the doctor. Now they might have bad experiences with other cats, but my cat was fairly pleasant and not fighting them when they tried to do their routine procedures (weight, temperature, etc). For some reason, the vet tech reached down and grabbed my cat by the nape of the neck and lifted him up like a trophy into the air! My cat was shocked and from that point forward became combative to everything they wanted to do. Of course any cat would do that if you treat him like that! The vet was ok, but both of them were saying "yeah- cats don't like coming here and letting us do anything". No $hit! If you treat an animal like that, they're not going to like you. Next, they put a blanket over my cat's head to hold him down to try to get more tests done. What a great idea! At that point, I grabbed my cat and proceeded to the exit. No thank you- I will not be coming back here.
