Wish I could give it more. The best wings I've ever had but service was horrible. My waitress Maddie disappeared half way through service and I did not see her again until the check came. I had to order dessert from the manager. The pork was dry and the sauce was not a help. If you go order a large helping of wings and enjoy.
My first taste of real Carolina Q and I was not disappointed! We shared the LTD platter, a carnivores delight.
Smoked pot roast was the star of the show! Pulled pork was most and tender and the ribs were perfect pink with a nice tug off the bone. Chicken was a bit dry but the sides, fried squash and sweet potato fries were excellent. Great local brew to go with.
We ate there 12/20/17 for a small Christmas Party of 8 people. 1/2 Rack of Ribs were excellent...great smokey flavor. At other restaurants, a 1/2 rack would not be enough, but here it's plenty. Mac and Cheese was just ok, nothing special. Sauteed Mushrooms were good. Green Beans were excellent. Corn Bread has a different taste which no one at our table liked. Service was very good except they forgot to bring our bread until we were done eating. Overall, a very good meal.
Lunch special at $9.99 with two sides. Not shy with portions and fairly quick on the service. Our waitress was courteous and friendly. Got in and out within the hour (but I've been here on a really busy day where it took right up to an hour before I finished). I ordered the pulled barbeque plate with fries and Mac n Cheese. Don't be fooled by the pictures. It's a 11-12 inch plate packed with your order. Just a fair warning, I have seen the pot roast come out a little on the measly side when it comes to portions. The Mac and cheese was DELICIOUS! I'll be ordering a double next time. Great lunch but pick your day correctly if you really want to try something as the special. Highly recommended. As far as the smoked wings, I'll let the rest of the comments justify their glory!
Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff!!! Came down for the day and a local recommended this place. They were right. It's delicious! I knew it was going to be good since the parking lot was full and I could smell the BBQ coming outside. It was busy but I got my food fast and everything was warm! Plenty of TVs to watch as well. Good beer on tap!
