Absolutely first class service!! I handled the move for my daughter yesterday and the crew of 6 showed up with 3 large trucks. The first thing they all did was come over and introduce themselves and shook my hand. They looked at everything, put a plan together and worked as a team for 10 hours straight in high temperature and kept a great attitude They ensured things were wrapped properly, placed in the truck where it wouldn't get damaged, and unloaded everything at the new house making sure the new floors were protected. I know my daughter also had a great experience on the phone with the office staff getting the move set up and having the estimator come to give a quote. As a Regional Manager for a large franchise company, I can tell you that I will use this positive experience as an example to our new people to emulate.
Two men and a truck was great to deal with the entire process. An estimator came out the day after I called (offered same day, but I couldn't). I was doing an interstate move. Everything was done in one day that was going into the apartment, the items that were going into storage were done within 2 hours the next day. With the exception of a scratch on the table nothing else was damaged during the move. The two guys (Nate and another gentleman) were very professional, they were never on their phones, they stayed focus. Everything was wrapped with covers and then wrapped with plastic wrap (we have an almost white couch and there were no stains on it from the move). I had a HORRIBLE experience with Ace Moving (they stayed on their phones, broke lamps, scratched up all of the furniture, and under quoted the move), so I was extremely nervous about using another mover, but Two Men and a Truck was MUCH better. You definitely get what you pay for and you will not be disappointed with Two Men and a Truck. Make sure if you can request the group of guys you ask for Nate and his partner. They're really good.
I don't often post reviews, but I had such a TERRIBLE experience, I want others to know. The movers never showed up, and only called me after I left a message to find out if they were coming. When trying to reschedule, I was accused of canceling the move. The second time, the movers were late again. They refused to use dollies or blankets to protect my furniture and home, they did not wipe their feet and left countless dirty fingerprints throughout my home. In addition, they basically forced me to tip them. And it doesn't end there. The following day, I noticed a deep chip in my travertine tile and a crack on my brand new thermostat. After three months, numerous emails and phone calls, and being passed between four members of their management team, I have received no apology, and nothing has been repaired. This is one of the WORST customer service experiences I have ever had. Beware!
I only moved 2 blocks from a rental to my new home and 2 (pretty cheap) pieces of furniture were broken. They also told me I needed a 4 prong plug for my dryer so I took the plug off and ordered a new one. Ummmmm, the outlet is 3 prong. The guys were nice, but I guess that's not all you need in a mover...
Scheduled a move for July 24th at 1:30pm. Movers were late. Started calling the office at 2:00pm. Called them 8 times, kept getting sent to voice mail. It's almost 3pm and still no truck and still can't get anyone in the office. Driver of the truck was nice enough to call at 2:48 pm and said they would be there in 25 minutes.
