When the lease ended with my first tenants, they helped me quickly secure another tenant. They also helped me purchase a home and we did it virtually! They had very creative ideas to help me select a property and with the videos, etc. along with some family and friends I found a home that I absolutely love in a great community and I didn't have to travel for it. The Barnett Property Management team has done a truly professional job at managing my rental property in Charlotte! For the last two years they have expertly marketed and maintained my property, and they have done a great job of placing tenants. Their expertise in attaining a reasonable rent for my home and properly qualifying prospective tenants has been A+, I really couldn't be happier with their service(s). As a first timer and an out of state property owner, I was initially skeptical of the property management process, but the team did a great job of calming my nerves and tending to my many concerns and questions as they came up.
During the buying process, I was very impressed with Sam's responsiveness and follow-through. Because of his property management experience, he was very well versed during the inspection and resulting negotiations around the repairs that needed to happen. He consistently demonstrated an ability to keep the sellers moving on the repairs. When things didn't go as they had promised, he played a critical role in getting them moving again.
I worked with Barnett RE & Property Mgt. to try to sell my condo but due to the housing market, the condo did not go anywhere. Sam suggested I put the condo up for rent and at first I was very reluctant because I am thinking “my condo will be trashed and I will not have the time to keep checking on the place”. After thinking about it some more and talking with Sam, he assured me he would take care of my condo and have my best interest. Well, he did and the rental experience was not bad as I thought it was going to be. I would definitely recommend Sam and his team to anyone that wants to rent or sell their property. Sam is very knowledgeable and no question was ever to dumb or too silly for him not to answer. We needed a house that was "walkable" which is somewhat unusual in Charlotte. Right off the bat he pinpointed a neighborhood my husband and I hadn't even considered, and that is where we ended up buying.
