I rented with Henderson Properties this year, and it's been an incredibly pleasant experience! The whole team is knowledgeable and helpful, and Marquita Henderson is by far one of the best. Marquita was always available, always helpful, and always went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed, from move in to getting ready to move out. When I ran into some personal issues recently, Marquita went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported. Above all, her kindness made me feel like the company cared about me as a person, not just some number who was renting a home. I would highly recommend Marquita and Henderson Properties to anyone who lives in the Charlotte area!

In July,2017 we met with Valerie to review her professional recommendations for pricing and marketing. She had divided the properties into 3 groups based on a number of factors. The fourth group is 4 residential lots. We could not have been more impressed with Valerie’s presentation. It was in depth, detailed, well thought out. She reviewed concerns that could potentially affect the property values but in the end, she had priced the groups very close to what were expecting. Her attention to detail, her professionalism, here knowledge of the industry was evident and she is a true professional.

Valerie Yates- I highly recommend Valerie. We were looking to list properties for sale and we were contacted by Valerie Yates through a referral. At the time, we were not in a position to sale; however, Valerie asked for a list of the properties so she could begin reviewing the properties for zoning, etc. It was amazing at the work she did in a short amount of time. She kept in touch, asked questions and offer her services even though there was no listing agreement at the time.
In May 2017, we were ready to list the properties and Valerie was amazing. She did a tremendous amount of work reviewing the properties, zoning, contacting city offices to check on properties. After meeting Valerie and Kevin McClave, we were immediately impressed. The presentation they had prepared was excellent. We could tell Valerie had done her homework. Valerie and Kevin had developed ideas for marketing strategies and how to best proceed with selling the properties. We knew at that point we had found the right company and the right real estate professional in Valerie Yates to help us navigate through this complex process. We signed the listing agreement for residential and commercial properties. Valerie has continued her outstanding work over the next couple of months. She had been very responsive to our calls, emails and always gives us sound advice and guidance.
Made a wild request to help me hang a light fixture. And by surprise they was willing to help. Making the appointment request was easy. And the men came, installed. And left the house clean.. very impressed and comforting knowing that I can make a request like mine and they are able to help out.. thanks again..

They leased me a home with a missing window pane and refused to fix it. Had to complain numerous times about an issue with the toilet before someone on the maintenance team would even agree to look at it. Had a very unpleasant phone call with a horrible woman in maintenance who treated me like garbage. The windows are painted shut and they refuse to come look at it. They scheduled a bi-annual walkthrough of the property, I waited home all day, and found out they rescheduled it for a day when I'll be out of town. I was not informed about the change and wasted my whole day waiting. I expressed to them that I was uncomfortable with having someone in my home while I'm not there and asked them to change the date they had rescheduled it to and they said that the owner requested it and they likely won't change it to accommodate me even though all of my personal belongings are in my home. This company is beyond terrible, and I will not be using them for my next place when I move. Save yourself a lot of trouble and stress and use a different leasing company. I really should have read the reviews for Henderson properties before leasing from them. The one thing I will say that is positive is that most of their employees are very nice. Otherwise, it's completely terrible.
