Unfortunately, my area doesn't have any properly large music stores , so Sam Ash is about a 90 minute drive from my home. It is definitely worth the trip, however, because the selection of everything is excellent. I recently made the trip to look for a new electric guitar. I spent a good part of the afternoon there and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Even as a middle-aged novice player, I was made to feel completely at home checking out various instruments and getting all my questions answered. I ended up buying a new acoustic and an Orange amp - both for a great price and 36 mos interest free! Special thanks to Trey, Abel and a nice young lady whose name I didn't get. Great experience and looking forward to my next visit!

Paul in the pro audio section was extremely knowledgeable and helped us feel comfortable in our purchase decision. The gentlemen in Percussion was also very helpful and introduced us to a new instrument concept relevant to what we were trying to accomplish. Throughout our experience there the staff were easily accessible when we needed them but didn’t hover or make us uncomfortable.
Working with Jeff to locate and have shipped in a specific guitar was the absolute best retail experience I have had in years. Even during this very busy shopping time of year, Jeff was courteous, calm and 100% competent. It was a true pleasure and Sam Ash will be my first (and likely only) stop from now on.

I had a great experience with Sam Ash. I was looking for trombone case for my college student that was very specific and after trying half a dozen or more companies I could could not find the case that my son wanted. However when I call Sam Ash they searched 45 stores and they found one in a store that was Upstate New York and they shipped it overnight from New York state to North Carolina in time for Christmas. Greg went over and above forming and I truly appreciate it.
