My time is valuable too. In the future, I'm choosing a gastro group that really has time for me and treats me as a customer. They have not in ANY instance. No thanks.
My husband and I have been patients of this practice for at least 28 yrs. We have always had excellent care from the doctors and staff and no problems with billing or customer service. We especially like Dr. Barry Schneider and Dr. Glenn Portwood who we feel are caring physicians who listen and are very thorough and competent.
Simply stated. This office needs serious help with their customer service and patient satisfaction. They keep patients due to the convenience of the location otherwise I am sure people would go elsewhere.
Dr Portwood and his staff was very friendly and professional. He has took care of me for 15 years. I would certainly recommend him to all my friends and family. He was very caring about all my needs and concerns.
I am not confident in the information given. It is probably due to the service from beginning to end. There was a lot of loud talking among-st the staff, wait time was the longest I have ever waited at a doctor's office, and for some reason the staff acted as if they were just hired and had to figure out how to do things. My name was typed in wrong on my paperwork... just not confident in their service. I have never felt this way about a doctor visit.
The physians in this group, are highly respected in their field. The office experience, however, is more akin to a visit to the DMV. Expect unreasonably long hold times for appointments or patient questions. They behave as though they are a monopoly. Like you can't go anywhere else.
