The health department really needs to inspect this place. My girlfriend set up an appointment there. We are new in the area so she decided to try Dr. Gaffney and make it her primary practice. Wow, what can I say ...the experience was horrible. The wait was too long---waited 3hrs before ever seeing the doctor. And finally when called in, the staff were all rude and unprofessional. And Dr. Gaffney was no better. This place is very GHETTO all around. They didn't seem very organized---in fact the place looks extremely Grungy & Dirty. Patient's files were piled up on the floor where the patients could see. They seemed very confrontational too. We will never step another foot through the doors of Dr. Gaffney practice. If I could give zero stars I would, the 1 star is not deserved. Do yourself a favor and go directly across the street to North Cross medical which is what we did and have no complaints except the wait time, but at least they know what they are doing.
AVOID at all costs. They will waste your time and money. I had to go to 3 different appointments for one generic prescription refill. I wish I was joking when I say I spent 6 1/2 hours cumulatively at this office- mind you, I have a full time job. During the first appointment there was a cockroach on the floor. The second appointment consisted of me waiting for 3 hours. Third appointment they refused to mail me the results of my blood work so they could scam me out of a co-pay (standard physical). I don't know which one is better, the fact that the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling. Or the fact that I refused to wait any longer for my results (at this point it was 30 minutes) and instead of seeing the nurse discussing my results with the doctor, she (doctor) came out of some back room with a plate of PORK CHOPS and MASHED POTATOES. SERIOUSLY?! How does this practice stay open...
Absolutely awful experience each of the times that I have been to this office. Long wait times, very impersonal communication, & rushed consultations.
Dirty, outdated facility. Dr rescheduled on me multiple times. Dr ordered tests that I did not request.
STOP! Zero need to read another review. I too read the reviews prior to going here and simply thought those patients biasly had a bad experience. I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG. This place is the most ghetto, unorganized, unethical health establishment on the face of this earth. I can go on and on but TRUST that you will discover nothing short of a complete mind-boggling " how in the hell is this place still legally operating" experience. My final straw resulted in me filing a compliant with the NC medical board that will coincide with the many other compliants filed against her. Thank you.
