Not impressed with this establishment at first glance. Got out of our car only to find the car next to us having it's Windows broken out. Upon my arrival the heavier female behind the counter was very short coming towards me and my girlfriend. the day prior to arrival I called to make sure my reservation went through the system. while I was on the phone with the gentlemen whom was kind as well I had asked him if I could walk in and have my reservation checked in. he said yes sir, come on in and you'll get to your room in a timely manner. as I walked into the door. there was a pleasant scent of cinnamon. just in time for the holidays! thought to myself oh sweet well this isn't too bad. until I heard room check ins aren't until 3 pm or 1500. politely I said olay thank you ma'am. walking over to the waiting area only to hear loud conversations for hours and I had asked about the room being available or any room at all in fact. and they said no sir you have too standby and wait. either way. I'm concerned for our safety as a couple and confused why I've heard so many rules regarding getting me into my room. I arrived at approximately 0645. currently 0736 8 more hours to go sitting in this lobby before I even see a room!
I originally gave this hotel 4 stars based on service and cleanliness. At first check-in the manager was very pleasant and accomodating. However, my ending experience was almost nightmarish. I noticed 2 separate transactions in my banking. I questioned what may have happened. The first gentleman tried assisting as best he could but ANOTHER manager took over. This other person was very abrupt and abrasive. When I asked to see the receipt I had signed (never raising my voice) I was told "be quiet, and calm down"! I asked multiple times for the receipt and was refused. I merely pointed to my receipt which was behind the counter. I saw my signature and advised "that's it right there, may I see it"? This time the manager began yelling "Do NOT touch anything" as he is yelling at me he picks up the phone and calls 911!! I'm standing there confused...he tells me he's from India and proceeds to tell the police he wants me escorted out. Now that they have my money he wants me gone...for what I believe "asking too many questions". Still a decent hotel, other staff members are pleasant but the owner DINESH will take your money and kick you out. DINESH IS HORRIBLE AND SPEAKS TO PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE WE'RE BENEATH HIM!!
Terrible hotel, exposed holes in walls, dated furniture and hard mattresses. Horrific continental breakfast and coffee taste like water with food color. Cheap price but not worth 10% of cost. I will never go back and I recommend you pay a little extra so you won't regret wasting your money. However, if you like staying in a fleebag hotel that hasn't been vacuumed in ages, and have coffee beans on floor, popcorn painting that look like spit balls on the ceiling then go ahead and book a room. Exception, Tasha whom worked the front desk was very nice.
My company stuck me here because our regular hotel was sold out. The lobby and hallways had an overbearing smoke odor. When I got to my non-smoking room on the 3rd floor the smell wasn't much better. I wanted to be able to open a window to get some fresh air, but they don't open. I turned on the fan only in an attempt to get some fresh air in the room and got a strong mold odor. I don't really have any allergy problems, but I stayed here for about a half hour or so and my sinuses started burning and I was getting a headache. I called my employer and had them move me to another hotel. I would rather sleep in a car or the airline terminal, than sleep here.
The black lady TASHA at the front desk is very rude. Having an attitude while working customer service doesn't make a great employee. I asked for someone to come up to my room to install the second light bulb that went out in my bathroom.. she looked at me as if she was disgusted at the fact that I had spoken up about the malfunctioning light. And snobbly replied with a snared lip. "I'll send someone up" needless to say no-one never came... at breakfast I asked if there was anymore forks/spoons left.. she had just answered the hotel phone and to answer me she had to take her person ear buds out which she was on a personal call while at the front desk answering the hotels phone. I waited a little over 10mins. Finally I gave up. On my way to the lift she rounded the corner as soon as she saw me push the lift button she double back around the corner to avoid me and My request...because of her I'm giving the hotel a low rating.
