The small buffet breakfast offered was a good, get your day started meal. Your choice of eggs, breakfast meat, oatmeal, breads, cereal, yogurt, fruit , coffee, tea, juices & milk.
But the hospitality was so nice we overlooked all the other things.
The room was neat and clean. The beds were adequate and the pillows were extra soft. The room had a mini fridge, coffee maker and lounge sofa/sleeper. The rooms were quiet and not a lot of distractions although they were remodeling.
Rooms were well furnished, double bed room had two queens and a pull out sofa. TV was mounted on a swivel and had a input switcher on the wall, which had all the common inputs for a TV, including component input, although the TV did not have the other end of the component cables plugged in as there was no input for them on the TV. The room was of modern design, had a mini fridge, and the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom itself so it could be used while the bathroom was occupied.
The beds are not the standard queen doubles you find in most room. They were a little smaller than the average full size bed. My brother is 6'3" 267lbs. He and his wife were tight!
I would return to this hotel on next visit to Charlotte.
The closets are very very small. It has one sliding door which means the u have use one arm to reach into the closet to retrieve your clothes. For a room that sleeps four, if all of us used the closet (which we tried) you will have to take clothes out to reach those in the far back.
I give this hotel a three bases on cleanliness. Carpeting in the halls and rooms were highly stained. The elevators appeared to have something splattered all on the interior walls and doors.
A partition dividing the sleeping area from sitting area. The large sectional sofa, wet bar with refrigerator and desk was a nice amenity. The swivel flat screen TV made it possible to watch in bed or in sitting area. Though the sink, mirror and small vanity was outside the bathroom, the bathroom was small...only large enough to hold a toilet & bathtub/shower.
Hotel in a very nice quiet area. Staff is super pleasant and attentive. They were quick to fix the heating and cooling system in our room.
Quant lobby area. The front desk was friendly upon check in &the staff was also during our stay. I like the large rooms.
Nice and quiet hotel in the airport area. There are not a lot of food options within walking distance with exception of Jock and Jill's that shares a parking lot with the hotel. The free breakfast is good with eggs, breakfast meat, toast, cereal and oatmeal.
Overall this was a good deal on a room.
Very peaceful, quiet. Hotel staff is very helpful, the ideal blend of polite and professional. Health-conscious complimentary breakfast. Good place to spend a weekend.
