If you're in the area or plan on being in the area and want a great hotel this one is definitely worth staying at!
Continental breakfast was available slightly later than most hotels, which is a plus for late risers. There's a bar in the lobby and a 24/7 market cafe, which was convenient if you don't feel like leaving the hotel for a nightcap.
This is a great hotel, wonderful customer service and such clean and comfortable rooms. The rooms are super nice, I have a king sized bed, giant flat screen tv, a work desk, mini fridge, my own coffee maker and a nice lounge area with a spacious couch. There’s a pool and a bar here. Great hot breakfast served everyday and they have fresh fruit. I had a flight out on Monday and back on Wednesday. I stayed here Sunday night and they drove me to the airport and let me keep my car here until I got back on Wednesday FREE OF CHARGE! This is a really great hotel with great customer service.
Clean rooms - nice staff. Walking distance from some nice cheap food locations. A short drive will take you to downtown Charlotte. A really enjoyable quiet evening we spent there. Will be staying again!
If you do want to head elsewhere for great food, you've no need to go any further than across the street since there were several great restaurants including sushi, hibachi, and soul food. The location next to the airport makes it the perfect place for travelers, and since this hotel offers more than most, I'd suggest choosing this one.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt this past weekend! The hotel was very clean and had a modern feel to the decor. The layout of the room was agreeable. We had two beds and a large wrap around couch which was also a fold out bed. I slept on the fold out, and it was surprisingly comfortable. The pillows were great, very soft and fluffy. You also get 2 sinks and mirrors in the room, which was useful when we had 3 people trying to get up and out the door in the morning. The breakfast was decent, not amazing but it did the job. Would absolutely recommend this hotel, and we look forward to staying there again!
My stay at the Hyatt Place in Charlotte was just what I needed after a long day on the road from Wilmington. The hospitality was spot on and front desk was extremely kind and courteous upon my check in. I was very pleased and comfortable in my energy efficient room and felt safe given the location of the hotel. Even with the hotel being very busy this night they had ample parking and there were zero disruptions..it's an extremely quite hotel. Easy commute to downtown Wilmington and the airport. The room was super clean and quite and included a microwave and coffee maker. I wish we could have stayed longer so we could have taken advantage of the gym, pool and the nice laundry room. Location of hotel offered many nice places to venture to and eat nearby. Housekeeping were very courteous...extremely nice folks and really went out of their way to help me with all of our requests.
Fantastic experience. The room was spacious and basically a suite with a huge couch and desk, and clean all around.
