Stayed there last week. It was my first time in Hyatt. Rooms are clean. Nice city views. They also have rooftop restaurant open to public. Free breakfast. Great service.
I was not very impressive with the room at all, the door to shower kept making noise when you open and close as if it was going to fall off any time and the ottoman was ripped in different areas. But now the staff just made us feel at home every day we were there. Thank You GUYS and keep doing what you do We Greatly APPRECIATED You!!!!!!
Clean and large rooms with views of Uptown Charlotte. Bathrooms have plenty of room. The "cafe" area is a great touch. You can get drinks both alcohol and non. Nice snacks and even quick bites. Rooms were quite, bed very comfortable and maybe silly but the multiple blinds allow partial blockage and total blockage of any and all light. Small issue was handled in a very satisfactory way. You are pretty much forced to use the in house valet but the simple fact it not outrageous and you have unlimited in and outs. The nice thing is that they give you a number to text so that you can have your car brought around before you get downstairs. Close to basically everything. Hyatt House is a little closer than Hyatt Place and had a better roof top pool. Hyatt Place does have Fahrenheit 51 that has great, albeit rather pricey food and drinks plus incredible view.
5 star food just, don't wear a hat; they have the audacity to tell a man to take his English bowler off to be welcome in their establishment while entertaining a government official who is also his father. Portions were consistent with 5 star dining but, not consistent with southern hospitality. Dark. Quiet. A little pretentious. Yet, what chef did with the food was distinctly impressive.
We hosted an event to have fun and collect gifts for less fortunate families. The staff and location was awesome. We had a room there as well. The room was great as well.
