CEO of love is a great way to understand the musical art experience
So the good first. The staff was friendly and our stay was pretty pleasant. We had my dog and there was no problem with the cheap $25 pet fee. Very convenient for it's cheap price. Now the bad. It's very outdated, and the place needed some change. The room was...mostly clean, but there was some mold around the sink area. It's also in a really sketchy area. Even with my pitbull mix dog at my side, I was nervous walking to the treeline where the only grassy area is. There is no vending, and the hotel office stops selling drinks/snacks at 8pm. It's definitely not family friendly, but if you're looking for a place to crash for a night to do something in Charlotte, it's worth the cheap price.
Right off the highway exit, yes the area around is probably a little on the rough side, but the staff was friendly and informative. Close to downtown, good price, and I was expecting a really outdated room due to how low the price was...but the rooms are updated and nice. No bugs which was what I was really worried about. Everything was clean, shower was large and had good water pressure. I will definitely return whenever I am back in Charlotte.
Absolutely the most horrid hotel I've ever stayed in. And I've stayed in a lot of hotels. My family stayed here to see the eclipse on the 21st. When we got here the website said that we booked a non smoking room. But when we got in, everyone smelled marijuana and cigarettes. My mother went to take a shower and there was a COCKROACH in the shower. To top it all off, the wifi password doesn't even work. And just to make it even better, there is spilled vodka on my bed. The ground and my bed is soaked if cheap American vodka from the previous stay. Does anyone clean here? There are so many hairs that aren't mine every where. The bed springs are broken and it's hard to sleep here. I can hear a couple having sex in the room next to me.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. “Non-smoking”room was filthy, cigarette burns in the sheets, dirty, burns on nightstands and sinks. Truly disgusting. I was stranded in Charlotte due to weather, had to prepay over the phone for the room, and was informed that it was non refundable. I called looking for a room at another choice property, and the operator informed me that while they were full, there was a room available at another of their properties, The Rodeway Inn. I assumed (incorrectly) that the room being offered was on par with the room I was initially trying to reserve. It was midnight and I wanted a place to sleep for a few hours. Terrible idea. This place is awful. I did receive an email from management suggesting I give them another shot. (Tip for management: read your reviews and do something about the obviously consistent problems) That will not be happening. I regret having wasted the money and wish I would have just slept at the airport.
In all honesty I DO NOT recommend you stay here.
