When we dropped the car off, I talked to another gentleman at the counter who said that they had never received my Priceline reservation. So I called Priceline and they called Hertz to find out that they upgraded me for 45 plus what I paid!!!
No shuttle bus needed at this site. Pickup and return process went very smoothly. Great staff.
What a joke, we rented a car wanted to add extra drivers and days, they charged us 174 for the extra drivers. Never added the days. Look you contract over carefully, don't use the kiosk to any changes. Customer service was no help. Will go back to using Thrifty or Enterprise never had these problems with them.
Every time I rent with Hertz in CLT, the team is awesome. Very caring and professional Team. Always quick to solve any little issue. No hassles, all great listeners. Anita took charge one night to make myself and another Senior couple very happy. It was natural for her. She is a great lady! The others on the team, also, do a phenomenal job. Hertz, you guys have it figured out with these great people in Charlotte. Thank you!
Very dishonest! I had booked with Priceline and when I approached the counter after a red-eye flight, the service representative automatically upgraded my reservation. The service rep never even acknowledged the reservation I had made before. He just asked if xx car was okay. Then printed the receipt that said $45 a day. I was exhausted and agreed to the charges expecting it to be 45 a day minus the amount I already paid.
Very tricky! They knew we were half asleep from the flight and took advantage. They were very unclear in their communication. "$45 a day" implies $45 total. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH HERTZ AGAIN!
Update: Called Hertz and they reversed half of the upgrade charges. I mentioned the other Yelp posts stating similar situations and the rep still ended our conversation saying I need to read the agreement better. Unbelievable!
The rentals here great. However, they don't clean them very well so don't expect something super clean when you rent. I rent a car there almost every two weeks. I'm Presidents Circle, and this is a trend with them. The people who greet you are extremely nice, and the people in the gold booth has become "nicer". They weren't always like that. I'd recommend to a friend...
